Every year as a result of agricultural industry's work, millions of tons of waste are produced. The main problem is that most of the agricultural wastes are not recycled. They are believed to be safe for the nature, but in fact they pollute the environment.
"Baramoda", the first agri-tech start-up in MENA region, has a solution to this problem. Their mission is to turn agricultural waste into organic fertilisers. Their products decrease the water needed for cultivation, revives the nutrients in the soil and increase the crop production. They are focused on sustainable agricultural innovations and their aim is to transform Africa into a green land by them. They are also very important for the African countries, because with help of "Baramoda" it is possible to take the agricultural industry in Africa to a whole new level.
It looks like a real interesting project. Ill attach here and article that describes a project also related with waste treatment from agriculture production (specifically in the poultry sector) from Harper Adams University. I also recommend you to read the book "degrowth in the suburbs: a radical urban imaginary".
People don't know much about how agricultural waste can be a factor in pollution, glad that Baramoda start-up pointed it out and decided to take place in that. Their environmental step is the beginning of a dream coming true!
